Amul’s recent post amidst the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan has got the public’s stamp of approval. The doodle is getting praised all across the country for his creative styling and witty way of portraying the situation. The ad showcases the press conference held by the Indian military officials addressing Operation Sindoor carried out by the Indian Army.
Amul took to their social media handles and posted a picture that showcased the iconic amul girl with blue hair saluting the two army officials – Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Colonel Sofiya Qureshi. The two officers are shown standing next to each other on a podium from which they addressed the nation and told them about Operation Sindoor.
The image also shows fighter jets and air strikes in the background demonstrating India’s destruction of the terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The highlight of the post is at the top of it where it is written in bold, “Send them Pakking”. They took a pun at the word packing by writing it as Pakking to subliminally mention Pakistan. The image also showed their stance on the situation, writing, “Amul Proudly Indian” at the bottom of their post.
The scene was taken from the legendary press conference which the Indian military conducted after the successful Operation Sindoor. The press conference was spearheaded by Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Colonel Sofiya Qureshi who informed the world about the strikes conducted by the Indian armed forces on nine base camps of the terrorists residing across the border.
The Indian government conducted these attacks in retaliation to the terrorist attack that took place in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorists brutally killed 26 innocent civilians out of which mostly were tourists who were shot at point blank range in front of their families. The Indian military retaliated with full force taking out the base camps of terrorists in a planned air strike. Ever since then, the two countries have locked horns, and tension is escalating on the borders.
