Bharatiya Senior Citizens of Chicago organized BSC Karaoke Talent program on December 21, 2024 at Rana Reagan Center in Carol Stream IL. More than 900 members attended this singing talent program which began at 3 pm with renowned singer and emcee Bharti Desai anchoring the talent show. She enthralled the audience with her charming personality and melodious voice.
BSC President Haribhai Patel welcomed all participants and members. More than 40 participants showcased their talent with Bollywood old songs, Tippani fold dance from Gujarat and Bollywood Mix dances on Uttarayan, Holi, Janmasthmai, Navratri, Diwali.
Interestingly, the choreography for these dance performances were done by BSC member, stage decorations by Jaya Baxi, and key board, bhajans, Raag Malhar performed by talented members. Specially, all the members enjoyed the song from the film, Pakeezah ‘Mausam hai Ashiqana’ sang by Rita Patel, the story of Pandav by Bhavin Kadakia, ‘Ame Amdavadi’ sang by Ramesh Bhrambhat. All participants were majorly singing Mukesh, Kishore Kumar, and Mohammed Rafi songs.
Along with the talent show, Arvind Guna Patel, a committee member held a Shri Nath ji paintings exhibition. At the end of program, BSC Executives gave away beautiful certificates to all the participants.
The program organizer, Hari Patel thanked Jayanti Oza, Jaya Baxi, Tariq Khan, Pankaj Patel, Ramesh Rupani, Mahesh Danak, Shilpa Desai, and Mahendra Patel for successfully leading the talent show program. BSC members were so enthused by the talent show, they demanded to organize talent show twice a year.
