Baba Sukha Singh, the head of the Kar Sewa sect, laid the foundation stone of the Param Purakh Academy in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This significant event took place during his Gurmat Prachar tour in the country. The construction of the academy witnessed a large gathering from various cities in Canada, and members of the Sikh community attended the congregation in large numbers.

Bhai Gurpreet Singh Moga performed Kirtan, while Gyani Harjit Singh shared his thoughts on Gurmat teachings. Baba Sukha Singh also enthralled the audience with his Kirtan. The academy aims to connect the new generation with both Punjabi language and Gurmat teachings, especially considering the growing number of Punjabi settlers in Canada, including students, young workers, and more families over the last two decades.
