As part of the initiative to support Indian students in its jurisdiction, the Consulate General of India in New York has developed a platform for Indian Students to find internship opportunities at companies in the USA.
Internship opportunities can be accessed on the consulate’s online platform that connects Indian students with internships in diverse fields of finance, IT, investment banking, software, automotive, science and technology, hotels, healthcare, aviation, artificial intelligence, and pharma at various companies across the US.
Besides internships, this portal also provides information about experts offering psychological and healthcare advice to Indian students. Indian students and the diaspora can reach out to legal experts and Attorneys across 10 states within the jurisdiction of the CGI New York for legal assistance or guidance.
For legal assistance, Indian students can access referrals to renowned attorneys within the consulate’s jurisdiction. These attorneys will help Indian citizens facing legal issues and students can contact them directly by giving the reference of the consulate.
For medical assistance, the consulate has partnered with doctors to provide mental health services, including psychiatry counseling and Telemedicine consultations for those in need.
This initiative aims to bridge the gap between Indian students and valuable resources, enhancing their career prospects and overall well-being.
