In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, both India and the United States have dealt significant blows to Pakistan’s chances of advancing to the T20 World Cup. The cricketing extravaganza is staring at the prospects of Pakistan getting knocked out of the T20 World Cup. Both, India and USA proved to have a ‘K’ factor against Pakistan meaning ‘Knockout’ for the Pakistan cricket team in the T20 World Cup.

Pakistan faced India in a crucial match and suffered a 6-run loss. Despite a strong performance by Pakistani bowlers Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf, India’s disciplined bowling, led by Jasprit Bumrah, secured the improbable victory for India.

This defeat was a setback for Pakistan’s qualification hopes. After this loss, Pakistan had 0 points after 2 matches and needed to win their remaining games against Canada and Ireland while hoping that the United States and Canada would not win any more matches. Even then, qualification may come down to Net Run Rate (NRR).

Previously, Pakistan, in their first group stage encounter was stunned by the United States. The USA secured a historic win against Pakistan in a thrilling T20 World Cup match, triumphing in a Super Over after both teams tied at 159.

The USA’s victory over Pakistan has significantly impacted Pakistan’s chances of progressing to the Super 8 stage of the tournament.

Both India and the USA have played pivotal roles in Pakistan’s current situation in the T20 World Cup. Pakistan faces an uphill battle to qualify for the next stage of the competition owing to the ‘K’ factor of India and USA. India faces USA today in their quest for the top position in Group A of the T20 World Cup.

The T20 Cricket match between USA and India is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. This match is part of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, and it will be the 25th match of the tournament.
