Google has launched a vibrant Doodle to celebrate the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup. This tournament marks the ninth edition since its inception in 2009. United States is the proud host nation for this year’s cricket extravaganza, and a record 20 cricket teams from around the world will compete for this coveted trophy.
The tournament has already begun, and the teams are divided into four groups of five for the group stage. Each team will face off against every other country in their group once. The ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup provides the best men’s cricketers in the world with the opportunity to showcase their skills and represent their nations in the US for the very first time. Google doodle is a tribute to the role cricket has played in bringing nations together and wishes good luck to all the competing teams!
The doodle captures the excitement of this historic event, which is co-hosted by the United States and the West Indies, marking the first time the T20 World Cup is being held in the US.
