Megastars Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif are an all-time biggest on-screen couple in the history of Indian cinema. They have delivered historic blockbusters & generation-defining chartbusters. Now they are back again in Aditya Chopra’s Tiger 3 reprising their iconic characters, super-agents Tiger and Zoya from the YRF Spy Universe!
The trailer of Tiger 3 has created mass frenzy and the film is now the most anticipated movie of the year! YRF has released the first song of the film, a party track Leke Prabhu Ka Naam, and the internet is in frenzy to watch Salman and Katrina dancing together.
Salman says, “Katrina and I have some great songs together and I understand that the expectation from people every time we do a song together will be sky high! I’m very confident that Leke Prabhu Ka Naam will make people happy.”
He adds, “It is a dance track that I personally love. It is probably one of the best dance tracks of my career! Katrina and I have been fortunate to have chartbusters that have entertained people across the world. I hope Leke Prabhu Ka Naam does this too and becomes a global hit!”
In the teaser of the song that was released on Friday and went viral immediately, Salman & Katrina showed off incredible chemistry in this vibey dance track that has been composed by Pritam, lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya and sung by Arijit Singh and Nikhita Gandhi! Both the superstars look drop-dead gorgeous in this song that will surely become the party anthem this festive season!
Choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant, the brain behind some of the biggest chartbusters of our generation, was given the responsibility to deliver another blockbuster song with Salman & Katrina after Swag Se Swagat in Tiger Zinda Hai. She is delighted with the response to Leke Prabhu Ka Naam and decodes why the song is an instant hit!
Vaibhavi reveals, “The intent is always to do justice to the song given, so, of course, it is also a franchise, and I have been a part of ‘Ek Tha Tiger,’ ‘Tiger Zinda Hai,’ and now ‘Tiger 3,’ so the expectation is always to do better. Yes, the intention was to do better, bigger, more in line with the theme of the film – that Tiger is back with Zoya, and now this time they are heating things up onscreen, sizzling – catering to their fans and for everyone to come in and groove with it.”
She adds, “With Katrina, of course, she comes alive on camera. Otherwise, she is such a simple girl. She would rather sit in her pajamas or her comfort wear than do all of this, but then she makes the effort. She is very particular about what she is putting out there from her accessories, shoes, and all of that. So when she comes on screen, she is then Katrina Kaif!“
Katrina Kaif is also delighted to be getting love from all quarters for her hit song from Tiger 3, Leke Prabhu Ka Naam. Katrina says, “For all these years as an artiste, the one thing that has kept me going is the love of my fans, media, and audience. The true barometer of success is in the love that one gets organically from people. Leke Prabhu Ka Naam is being celebrated is a such a wonderful feeling for all of us. Katrina is known for delivering humongous dance hits and she is happy that Leke Prabhu Ka Naam is joining her eclectic list of party anthems! She feels people have a huge expectation from actors to not just showcase their acting skills but also give them great songs to cherish and dance to!
