Actor Huma Qureshi will be seen headlining the web show titled ‘Mithya’.
Directed by Rohan Sippy, ‘Mithya’, a 6-part series navigates through the conflicted relationships between a Hindi literature professor Juhi, played by Huma Qureshi and her student Rhea, played by Avantika Dassani, who is the daughter of actor Bhagyashree and sister of actor, Abhimanyu Dassani. Talking about the project, Rohan Sippy said, “Mithya is a pulpy psychological thriller that delves into the human mind. Hopefully, it will leave you rattled, shaken and excited. It has been a pleasure to work with a dear friend Goldie Behl & Rose, and collaborate with a great team of talented actors, writers, technicians and of course to work once again with the trailblazing Applause Entertainment.”

Actor shares first post as a new bride
Actor Mouni Roy is now officially married to Dubai-based entrepreneur Suraj Nambiar.
After tying the knot with Suraj in Goa on Thursday, Mouni took to Instagram and penned a heartfelt post for her husband. “I found him at last.. Hand in hand, blessed by family and friends , We’re married! Need your love and blessing. Love, Suraj and Mouni,” she wrote. Alongside the note, Mouni posted a few pictures from the wedding ceremony. Mouni wore a white and red silk saree for the ceremony, while Suraj wore a golden kurta. Their wedding was conducted as per South Indian rituals.
Suraj, too, shared the photos on his Instagram account and expressed his happiness on getting hitched to his best friend.

Old celebrations video goes viral
As actor-singer Shehnaaz Gill turned a year older on Thursday, a birthday celebration video from her 27th birthday last year went viral on social media, featuring late actor Sidharth Shukla. In the clip, Sidharth can be seen holding his rumoured girlfriend and swinging her into a pool, while everyone laughs around.
Sidharth and Shehnaaz, popularly called ‘SidNaaz’ by fans, grew close to each other when they were in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, though they never officially acknowledged being a couple. Sidharth later won that same season in 2020.
The duo also appeared together on reality shows such as ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ and ‘Dance Deewane 3’, along with featuring in music videos of ‘Bhula Dunga’ and ‘Shona Dungan’.
