Salman Khan has surprised his fans as he unveiled the first look of his next movie project, Battle of Galwan. The fans of the Bollywood superstar were waiting for the announcement of his new project for a long time after his last movie Sikander. Salman posted a glimpse of the new film project on his social media account this Friday on July 4th.
The movie is based on the life of Colonel B Santosh Babu, the officer who led 16 Bihar regiments during the 2020 Galwan Valley clash with Chinese troops. Salman Khan will be in the lead role portraying the character of the brave Colonel. The movie star dropped the motion poster on his account in which his face is covered with bloodstains and he is sporting a moustache.
The clash in the Galwan Valley in 2020 was one of the most epic battles in India that was fought by both nations without firing a single bullet from either end. As the entire region prohibited the use of firearms, the battle between India and China was fought with sticks, stones, and hand-to-hand combat and resulted in loss of lives on both ends. The battle that was fought over 15,000 feet above sea level was the first time in nearly 45 years of the Sino-Indian border conflict that resulted in fatalities.
This movie is based on a story from India’s Most Fearless 3 by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh and is directed by Apoorva Lakhia. There were many rumours circulating on the internet, speculating that the Tiger Zinda Hai-famed star is going to be part of the biopic of the national hero, Colonel B Santosh Babu. Salman has now confirmed the rumours dropping the first look of the film and the fans are excited to see their favourite star back on the big screen.
