India’s Information & Broadcasting ministry has announced a list of fiction and non-fiction films that will represent India in the “Indian Panorama” section of the 51th edition of the government-organized International Film Festival of India (IFFI), which will be held in picturesque Goa.
IFFI 2020 will kick off on January 16 and conclude on January 24.
The Indian Panorama section includes 23 feature films and 20 non-feature films, selected from 183 entries. The jury’s choice for the opening film is Saand ki Aankh (Hindi, 2020, Directed by Tushar Hiranandani). Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar star in this sports drama.
