Georgia Voll smashed a gritty 101 to propel Australia to a commanding five-wicket victory over India, clinching the three-match women’s ODI series 2-0 on a batting-friendly pitch at Bellerive Oval. Voll capitalized on three dropped catches, including chances from Kranti Gaud and Smriti Mandhana, before falling after an 82-ball knock featuring 13 fours and a six, steering the hosts home with 13.5 overs remaining. Phoebe Litchfield’s explosive 80 off 62 balls, laced with 11 boundaries and a six, formed a crucial 119-run second-wicket stand that dismantled India’s defense after an early blow to Alyssa Healy.
India had earlier set a competitive 251/9, powered by half-centuries from Pratika Rawal (52 off 81 balls) and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (54 off 70). Rawal’s knock anchored a 78-run opening stand with Smriti Mandhana (31), but ordinary shot selection triggered a middle-order collapse, with Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues (11), Deepti Sharma (1), and Richa Ghosh (22) falling cheaply to Australia’s bowlers Ashleigh Gardner (2/39), Annabel Sutherland (2/37), and Alana King (2/41). Kashvee Gautam (25) and Harmanpreet later added 55 for the seventh wicket to push past 200, but it proved insufficient against Australia’s chase.
