The STEAM National Honor Society (STEAM NHS), a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing student scholarship in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, has announced a strategic collaboration with Intelligent Science Group Inc. (Science Bank) to publish the 2026 edition of the Future Scholars Journal (FSJ)—a free, peer-reviewed, international student research journal.
This partnership brings together STEAM NHS’s mission-driven student research ecosystem with Science Bank’s global scholarly publishing infrastructure to strengthen peer review, editorial quality, and international visibility for student-authored research. The Future Scholars Journal is an official scholarly activity of STEAM NHS and provides a rigorous publication pathway for high school and undergraduate researchers worldwide.
Under this collaboration, STEAM NHS and Science Bank will jointly manage the peer-review and publication process for approximately 30 high-quality student research articles, drawing on a combined network of academic reviewers. The journal will follow a structured, transparent review cycle aligned with international scholarly standards, culminating in publication in Spring 2026.
A key feature of the partnership is Science Bank’s support for DOI registration for accepted manuscripts, ensuring that student work is permanently citable and discoverable within the global research community. The Future Scholars Journal will be published through the FSJ portal and mirrored on the Science Bank platform to expand reach while preserving STEAM NHS’s full ownership of the journal’s intellectual property.
“This collaboration reflects our commitment to treating student research with the same seriousness, ethics, and rigor as professional scholarship,” said a representative of STEAM National Honor Society. “By partnering with Science Bank, we are expanding access, credibility, and opportunity for young researchers across the world.”
“Science Bank is proud to support the Future Scholars Journal and its mission to elevate early-stage researchers,” said a representative from Intelligent Science Group Inc. “This partnership demonstrates how platforms and nonprofits can work together to strengthen the future of scholarly communication.”
The Future Scholars Journal remains completely free for readers, reinforcing STEAM NHS’s commitment to open access, equity, and global participation in research. Students selected for publication benefit from structured peer review, editorial mentorship, and international dissemination of their work.
The 2026 edition of the Future Scholars Journal is scheduled for publication between April and May 2026.
