Rai’s Super T and Rai’s Device, two innovative golf-alignment aids created by vascular surgeon, scientist, sportsman and inventor Dr. Dinker B. Rai, were formally launched on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Village Club of Lake Success. The evening brought together golfers, club members, friends and community leaders for a presentation devoted to innovation, precision and improved performance in golf.
Turning an imaginary line into a visible guide
The invention addresses one of golf’s most persistent challenges: alignment. Golfers traditionally select a target, imagine a line from the ball to that target and then attempt to align their feet, shoulders, hips and clubface to a line that is no longer visible once they take their stance. Rai’s system converts that mental process into an objective visual method.
Its directional limb is placed toward the selected target, while the perpendicular alignment limb guides the position of the clubface and body. Rai’s Super T is designed for use on the course, with the ball positioned directly on the tee. Rai’s Device is intended for practice and teaching at the driving range, helping golfers repeat the same setup and develop swing-path memory.
A spirited launch program and panel discussion

The program was conducted by Master of Ceremonies Tito Singh, whose direction and warmth gave the evening an engaging rhythm. A central highlight was the panel discussion moderated by Rajiv Rudra of RR Golf Academy, with Village Club Pro Robi Mistretta and Dr. Rai discussing the practical importance of alignment, the development of the invention and its value for golfers, teachers and students of the game.
The presentation included instructional and biographical videos showing how the tee and device are used. Professional endorsements from Amandeep Jhol, a respected professional golfer and former Chief Executive Officer of the Professional Golf Tour of India; Adam Laird, a respected golf professional at North Shore Country Club; and Rishi Narain, an Asian Games golf gold medalist, added important professional perspectives to the launch. Guests were also able to examine the products at the display counter and discuss their use directly with the inventor and event team.
A collaborative achievement
The launch was made possible by the generosity of Peter Kumar, President of Gullwing Motor Cars, Astoria, the principal sponsor of the event, and by the support of the Village Club of Lake Success and its board. Dr. Rai also acknowledged the encouragement and practical guidance of Robi Mistretta during the development of the device.

Three contributors carried major behind-the-scenes responsibilities: Siddarth Poonja created the invitation, coordinated the presentation and arranged the video-and-slide program; Kamran managed the product counter, interacted with guests and carefully handled purchases and accounts; and Mr. Diabello of Pulse Communications provided the audiovisual system that supported the evening’s presentations.
A physician–inventor brings sporting experience to golf
Dr. Rai’s approach to golf reflects a lifetime at the intersection of medicine, science and sport. A vascular surgeon and medical educator with more than five decades of service, he is also an inventor and former national-level cricketer. Rai’s Super T and Rai’s Device grew from his effort to express golf alignment in simple geometric terms that can be seen, understood, taught and repeated.
The New York launch represented an important step in bringing that concept to a wider golfing audience. The response from professionals, club golfers and guests reflected strong interest in a system intended to replace uncertainty with a visible setup—and to allow the golfer, once aligned, to concentrate fully on the swing.

The purpose is to make alignment visible, objective and repeatable—so the golfer can stand with confidence and concentrate on the swing.”

About Rai’s Super T and Rai’s Device
Rai’s Super T is a directional golf tee for use on the course. Rai’s Device is a ground-level training and teaching aid for the practice range. Both use visible perpendicular directional and alignment limbs to help establish the target line, square the clubface, align the body and reinforce a repeatable swing path. The inventions are patent pending.
