Foram Music with Foram shah and Sanjay Shah presented the “Classically Yours””, a unique music concert on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Royal Albert’s Palace in New Jersey which was attended by more than 300 music lovers and community supporters. “Classically Yours” was a special evening of Raag Based Songs of Indian Cinema from last 75 years performed by 14 singers and 4 musicians with Jayesh Mehta SACHA as master of ceremony.
The Grand Sponsor for the event was business entrepreneur Piyush Patel of New Jersey. The exclusive Music work shop members who learned classical music with Foram and Sanjay Shah for the entire year, presented more than 30 songs from different Rags including Rag Khamaj, Rag Yaman, Rag Shivranjani, Rag Malgunji to list just a few from many Ragas used in Hindi songs. Foram and Sanjay Shah also sang few melodious numbers to mesmerize the audience. All singers were awarded with a Certificate of Completion for their classical training.
Foram Shah hopes to spread an awareness towards the Indian classical music foundation in the community and wants to focus toward younger generation who want to learn Indian classical music. There are many singing groups and talented singers in the tri-state area and more than 50 such groups are formed but many lacks the discipline and mentoring for the singers to excel in classical music. With hard work, focus and sincere mentoring from Foram and Sanjay Shah, the singers can learn multiple singing skills and excel in their singing to take it to a next level. The musical evening included delicious appetizers and dinner from Royal Albert’s Palace.
