Ranveer Singh’s much-anticipated look from his upcoming post-apocalyptic thriller Pralay has surfaced online, triggering a wave of excitement among fans and fuelling speculation about the scale of the film. Pictures and videos reportedly captured on the Mumbai sets show Singh in a rugged avatar with long hair and a beard, prompting comparisons with his recent Dhurandhar appearance.
The leaked visuals, whose authenticity has not been independently confirmed, have rapidly circulated on social media. In one clip, Singh is seen walking alongside other actors, while other images reportedly show him carrying a child. Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan has also been spotted in the footage from the sets. Some reports have described the project as a zombie-action thriller set against a post-apocalyptic backdrop.
The unexpected glimpse has intensified anticipation around Pralay, particularly after Singh’s recent success with the Dhurandhar franchise. Fans on social media have responded enthusiastically, with several predicting that the film could become a major box-office draw. One viral reaction described the project as a potential “monster”, while others expressed excitement over its reported survival-thriller premise.
Directed by Jai Mehta, Pralay is currently in production, with filming having begun in August. The makers have maintained secrecy around the film’s plot and characters, leaving the leaked material as one of the few glimpses available to audiences so far.
The film reportedly centres on a survival story in Mumbai amid an end-of-the-world crisis, with the characters fighting to survive as society begins to collapse. It is being produced jointly by Birla Studios, True Story Films and Maa Kasam Films.
