Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan surprised thousands of fans by making a special appearance at his Mumbai residence, Mannat, on his 61st birthday on November 2, after skipping his customary midnight balcony greeting. The actor stepped out onto the iconic balcony later in the day, waving, blowing flying kisses and striking his signature arms-wide-open pose as fans cheered and chanted his name.
Dressed casually in a white T-shirt and denim, Khan acknowledged the crowd with warm gestures, bringing smiles to fans who had gathered outside his residence hoping to catch a glimpse of him. Videos of his appearance quickly surfaced on social media, with fans expressing their excitement at seeing the superstar continue his birthday tradition.
The actor’s absence from the usual midnight appearance had initially disappointed fans. However, he made sure to acknowledge their love through a handwritten message displayed on a large screen outside Mannat. The note read, “Thank you all for your wishes and love. Sending mine right back to you all,” and was signed off with “lots of love and a big hug”.
The birthday appearance once again highlighted the enduring bond between the superstar and his fans.
