Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Ranabaali collected an estimated ₹36.90 crore worldwide in its first three days, with the historical action drama witnessing only modest growth on Sunday amid competition from Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2.

According to box-office tracking figures reported by Sacnilk, the film earned ₹7.50 crore net in India on Sunday, October 18, taking its cumulative domestic net collection to ₹24.05 crore. Its India gross collection stood at ₹28 crore, while overseas markets contributed ₹8.90 crore to its worldwide gross total.

Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali opened in theatres on October 16 with an India net collection of ₹9.25 crore. Its earnings declined to ₹7.30 crore on Saturday before registering a marginal 2.7% increase on the third day. Despite the slight Sunday recovery, the film’s daily collections remained below its opening-day figure.

The film faces competition from Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth, which has drawn considerable audience attention following its release. The competition has added pressure on Ranabaali to sustain footfalls during its crucial opening weekend.

Set in the 19th century, Ranabaali explores the impact of British colonial rule and famine in India. The film features Deverakonda in the titular role, with Mandanna in a prominent part. Actor Arnold Vosloo also appears in the period drama.

The film marks the reunion of Deverakonda and Mandanna on screen after their earlier collaborations in Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019). Their pairing has generated interest among audiences, although the film’s mixed initial reviews and box-office performance will be important factors in determining its theatrical run.

With its opening weekend concluded, the film’s performance during the weekdays is expected to provide a clearer indication of its staying power at the box office.
