Actor Yami Gautam Dhar has embraced traditional festive fashion in a red silk Anarkali ensemble worth Rs 1.01 lakh, paired with an intricately embroidered Bandhani dupatta, during promotional activities for her upcoming film Nayyi Navelli, scheduled for theatrical release on October 16, 2026.
The ensemble, from the homegrown label Pink City by Sarika, features a flowing red silk Anarkali with understated detailing along the bodice and fitted sleeves. The highlight of the outfit is its georgette Bandhani dupatta, adorned with traditional motifs, elaborate embroidery and an ornate border. The combination brings together traditional Indian craftsmanship and contemporary styling.
Styled by celebrity stylists Allia Al Rufai and Nayaab, Gautam completed the look with white jadau ear cuffs from Vani Jewels, priced at Rs 7,500, and a ring from 7TH Avenue Jewellery. Handcrafted ethnic footwear from Fizzy Goblet complemented the outfit.
For makeup, the actor opted for delicately lined eyes, defined eyebrows, softly blushed cheeks and nude-pink lips. Her hair was styled in a high ponytail with textured waves, keeping the overall appearance understated while allowing the ensemble to remain the focal point.
The look offers inspiration for festive gatherings and wedding celebrations, particularly for those seeking traditional silhouettes with statement accessories. The rich red colour, intricate dupatta and restrained jewellery demonstrate how a single embellished element can elevate a classic ethnic outfit.
Gautam’s fashion choices have become part of the promotional spotlight surrounding Nayyi Navelli, a fantasy horror-comedy directed by Balaji Mohan and written by Himanshu Sharma and Divy Nidhi Sharma. Produced by Aanand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma under Colour Yellow Productions, in association with Amazon MGM Studios, the film follows Mohini, a newlywed whose arrival transforms a household while raising questions about her seemingly perfect persona.
The film’s October 16 release is expected to bring further attention to its promotional campaign and the actor’s traditional fashion choices.
