The National Small Business Owners Association (NSBOA) officially launched its initiative with a highly successful kick-off event held on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Royal Albert’s Palace in Fords, New Jersey, bringing together more than 100 business professionals, small business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders from across the region. The evening provided an opportunity for attendees to network, exchange ideas, discuss the challenges and opportunities facing small businesses, and learn about the vision and mission of NSBOA.
The event featured remarks from M.Z. Patel, Dr. Tushar B. Patel, and P.K. Patel, who, along with other organizers, shared their vision for building NSBOA into a strong and inclusive platform for small businesses. They emphasized the importance of creating an organization where business owners can come together to connect, collaborate, learn, share resources, support one another, and create new opportunities for growth and success.
M.Z. Patel highlighted the importance of bringing small business owners together as a unified voice and creating a network where members can benefit from each other’s experience, knowledge, and connections. P.K. Patel spoke about the need for greater collaboration, mentorship, and access to practical resources that can help small businesses navigate today’s increasingly competitive business environment. Dr. Tushar B. Patel emphasized that NSBOA should be an organization driven by its members and focused on real opportunities, meaningful relationships, education, advocacy, and community impact.
The kick-off also received strong support from community leaders and business professionals, including Nikunj Shah, Woodbridge Councilman Viru Patel, Mukesh Kashiwala, Hemant Bhatt, Priti Pandya-Patel and many others who attended the event and expressed their enthusiasm for the organization’s mission. The speakers and supporters encouraged NSBOA to remain focused on building bridges among businesses, professionals, civic leaders, and the broader community.

The enthusiastic participation of the attendees demonstrated the strong need for an organization that brings business owners and community leaders together. Throughout the evening, participants expressed their willingness to contribute their time, experience, expertise, and resources to help NSBOA develop into a meaningful and sustainable organization.
NSBOA is being established as a platform focused on advocacy, education, networking, mentorship, business resources, innovation, sustainability, and community development. Its mission is to help small businesses become stronger and more successful while contributing to stronger and more vibrant communities.
“We are extremely encouraged by the tremendous response to the NSBOA kick-off,” said Dr. Tushar B. Patel. “This is just the beginning. Our goal is to build an organization where small business owners have a voice, access to valuable resources, opportunities to learn from one another, and a network that supports their growth and success. When small businesses succeed, our communities become stronger.”
Following the successful launch, NSBOA will be sharing additional information about membership, programs, resources, networking opportunities, and upcoming initiatives in the coming weeks. The organization’s first regular meeting is planned for November 2026 and will feature a productive agenda focused on identifying the priorities of its members, strengthening business connections, providing educational and resource opportunities, and establishing meaningful initiatives for the year ahead.
NSBOA welcomes business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, civic leaders, and community members who share its vision and are interested in becoming part of this growing network. The organization believes that its greatest strength will come from the collective experience, ideas, and commitment of its members.
The overwhelming support at the September 28 kick-off has created a strong foundation for NSBOA’s future. With continued collaboration and participation from the business and community leadership, the organization looks forward to building a network that creates greater opportunities for small businesses, stronger connections among professionals, and stronger communities for everyone. The event was supported by Mr. Albert Jasani of Royal Albert’s Palace along with DPA Attorneys At Law and Royal Solar.
The journey has begun—and the best is yet to come.
