Bollywood actor Tabu brought understated elegance to the trailer launch of Drishyam: The Conclusion in Panjim, Goa, as the highly anticipated final chapter of the crime-thriller franchise was unveiled on Wednesday. The film, starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat and Rajat Kapoor, is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 2, 2026.
The Goa event was particularly significant for the franchise, with the state serving as a central setting throughout the Drishyam films. Bringing the trailer launch back to Panjim offered a fitting connection to the world of Vijay Salgaonkar, the ordinary man played by Devgn whose carefully constructed story has kept audiences guessing across the previous films.
The newly released trailer suggests that Vijay’s troubles are far from over. Tabu returns as IG Meera Deshmukh, whose pursuit of Vijay and his family takes on a more personal and intense dimension. The film also introduces Jaideep Ahlawat as SP Crime Branch Rajveer Singh Tomar, while Prakash Raj appears as a prominent lawyer, adding new challenges to Vijay’s already complicated situation.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film continues the story from Drishyam 2 while promising a fresh set of twists and conflicts. The trailer highlights the continuing battle between Vijay’s ability to stay several steps ahead and the authorities’ efforts to uncover the truth.
