Mayo Clinic’s Gastroenterology and Hepatology department welcomed Dr. Misha Gautam as its newest fellow, adding another promising physician to its nationally recognized medical training program.
Mayo Clinic’s top-notch training, cooperative culture, and patient focused philosophy are the reasons Dr. Gautam decided to join Mayo Clinic. She said the institution offered an environment where she could continue to grow professionally while also feeling a strong sense of belonging.
Apart from honing medical skills, Dr. Gautam likes to pursue hiking, gardening and preparing regional Indian dishes, reflecting her interests both in the outdoors and in culinary traditions.
Dr. Gautam earned her medical degree from Government Medical College, Chandigarh.
Her arrival marks the beginning of a new chapter in her medical training as she joins Mayo Clinic’s Gastroenterology and Hepatology team.
