The makers of Ramayana: Part One are gearing up for an extensive pan-India promotional campaign ahead of the film’s worldwide release on November 6, 2026, with lead stars Ranbir Kapoor and Yash expected to meet fans in key cities across the country. The move is aimed at building momentum for what is being billed as one of India’s most ambitious cinematic adaptations of the epic Ramayana.

According to reports, Ranbir Kapoor, who portrays Lord Ram, will participate in a fan interaction event in Delhi on October 31, while Yash, cast as Ravana, is expected to headline a similar event in Bengaluru on November 1. The events are part of a wider strategy to engage audiences across both northern and southern markets ahead of the film’s release.

The production team is also reportedly considering a large-scale gathering in Hyderabad, which could be held shortly before the film’s release. While details are yet to be finalized, reports suggest the event could attract more than 4,000 attendees, underscoring the scale of the promotional push.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana: Part One has generated significant buzz since its announcement. The film is envisioned as a global Indian production and is being shot for IMAX, with visual effects handled by DNEG, the Oscar-winning studio known for its work on films such as Dune, Interstellar and Inception.

Produced by Namit Malhotra, the film features an ensemble cast including Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh and Vivek Oberoi. The project is planned as a two-part saga, with the second installment scheduled for release during Diwali 2027.

With fan events, large-scale promotions and international distribution by Sony Pictures Entertainment, the makers are positioning Ramayana: Part One as a landmark cinematic spectacle designed to appeal to audiences across India and around the world.
