Film Expo India is delighted to announce that Emmy-nominated Indian-American filmmaker Tirlok Malik will be the Guest of Honour at the upcoming Film Expo India 2026, scheduled from 26th to 30th August 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, New Delhi.
Tirlok Malik, based in New York, is a pioneering voice in Indian-American cinema who is known for films such as Lonely in America, Khushiyaan, and On Golden Years, among others.
Film Expo India 2026, themed ‘From Scripting to Releasing,’ is a major five-day industry platform bringing together filmmakers, producers, actors, technology providers, OTT platforms, investors, and creative talent.
The event will feature exhibitions, networking opportunities, industry conclaves, technology showcases, and discussions aimed at strengthening India’s position as a global filmmaking hub. It is organized by Exhobuzz, with actor Vindu Dara Singh serving as Mentor & Curator.
The presence of Tirlok Malik as Guest of Honour underscores the expo’s commitment to celebrating filmmakers who bridge Indian and international cinema and inspire the next generation of storytellers.
