Nolan’s tea stop in Mumbai sparks buzz

Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan, accompanied by actors Tom Holland and Matt Damon, recently visited Mumbai’s iconic 108-year-old Olympia Coffee House, drawing widespread attention to the city’s enduring culinary heritage. The visit, during which the trio reportedly enjoyed traditional chai, has generated excitement among fans and reinforced Mumbai’s reputation as a destination where history, cinema and culture intersect. They visited Mumbai for premiere of The Odyssey.         

The visit comes as Nolan continues work related to his upcoming project, with photographs and reports of the Hollywood stars at the heritage café quickly gaining traction online. Established over a century ago, Olympia Coffee House is regarded as one of South Mumbai’s oldest eateries and remains a favourite among locals for its old-world charm and authentic tea-house experience.
