Physicians, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and members of the Indian American community gathered in Newton for a meet-and-greet with Governor Maura Healey, bringing together leaders from across sectors for an evening of conversation and engagement focused on the future of Massachusetts.
The event was organized by Priya Samant and Dr. Anahita Dua and co-hosted by Dr. William Pepper Denman, Dr. Henna Karna, and Vithal Deshpande. The gathering provided an opportunity for attendees to engage directly with the Governor and discuss issues important to the Commonwealth, including economic growth, healthcare, innovation, education, housing, workforce development, and emerging technologies.

Governor Healey’s leadership continues to demonstrate what is possible when the government is focused on both economic growth and the well-being of its residents. Under her administration, Massachusetts has strengthened its position as a global leader in innovation, life sciences, healthcare, and artificial intelligence. Her administration has advanced investments in housing, transportation infrastructure, workforce development, education, and economic competitiveness while working to expand opportunities for residents and businesses across the Commonwealth.
By convening leaders from healthcare, business, and the community, the gathering created an environment for thoughtful discussion, meaningful engagement, and the exchange of ideas. Attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with Governor Healey, discuss priorities for the Commonwealth, and explore how collaboration across sectors can strengthen innovation, expand economic opportunity, and enhance the quality of life for residents throughout Massachusetts.
