Fans of Bollywood’s iconic Munna Bhai franchise may soon witness another on-screen reunion of the beloved duo Munna and Circuit. Actor Arshad Warsi has dropped a major hint that Sanjay Dutt could make a special appearance in his upcoming web series Pritam Pedro, sparking excitement among audiences nostalgic for the cult comedy pair.
Speaking about the project, Warsi suggested that Dutt’s presence in the series was a strong possibility, though he stopped short of making an official confirmation. The tease has fuelled speculation about a cameo that could bring the two actors together once again, years after they won hearts as Circuit and Munna Bhai in the blockbuster films Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and Lage Raho Munna Bhai.
Pritam Pedro, set to stream on JioHotstar, is a cybercrime-themed series featuring Warsi alongside debutant Vir Hirani and actor Vikrant Massey. The show also marks the OTT debut of filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, while introducing his son Vir Hirani in a lead role. According to the recently released trailer, the series blends humour, suspense and digital-age intrigue as its protagonists pursue a mysterious cybercriminal.
The possibility of a Sanjay Dutt cameo has generated considerable interest on social media, with fans expressing hope for a full-fledged Munna Bhai reunion. The franchise remains one of Hindi cinema’s most beloved comedy-drama series, and discussions about a third instalment have continued for years. While Munna Bhai 3 remains under development, cast members have repeatedly expressed optimism that the project will eventually materialise when the script is ready.
For now, audiences will be watching Pritam Pedro closely to see whether the latest hint translates into another memorable Munna-Circuit moment on screen.
