The teaser of Alpha, the first female-led installment in the YRF Spy Universe, was unveiled on Wednesday, offering audiences a glimpse of Alia Bhatt in a gritty and action-packed role. The film, which also stars Bobby Deol and Sharvari, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 3.
The teaser introduces Bhatt as a young operative shaped by a ruthless upbringing under the guidance of Bobby Deol’s character. Through a series of intense action sequences and dramatic exchanges, the clip hints at a story centered on survival, loyalty and transformation.
One of the teaser’s standout moments features Deol imparting a harsh lesson about predators and prey, prompting Bhatt’s character to embrace her identity as a “wolf,” setting the tone for the high-stakes thriller.
Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha marks a significant expansion of the YRF Spy Universe, which previously delivered blockbuster titles such as Pathaan, War and the Tiger franchise. The film is being positioned as India’s first major female-led action entry within the popular espionage franchise.
