The Association of American Veterinarians of Indian Origin (AAVIO), in partnership with Elanco Animal Health, recently hosted a successful Continuing Education (CE) Dinner Meeting at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Plano, Texas.
The event brought together veterinarians for an evening of professional education, networking, and fellowship, while providing attendees with one hour of approved Continuing Education credit.
AAVIO President Dr. Ravi Murarka thanked attendees for their participation and emphasized the value of unity within the veterinary profession. He highlighted how AAVIO’s growing membership strengthens relationships with pharmaceutical and diagnostic partners, creating valuable benefits and opportunities for members.

Dr. Murarka also reaffirmed AAVIO’s commitment to supporting veterinarians pursuing certification through the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) and Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence (PAVE) pathways. He encouraged established practitioners to mentor aspiring veterinarians by offering guidance and shadowing opportunities.
The evening featured an informative educational presentation, excellent cuisine, and meaningful discussions among colleagues. Attendees appreciated the opportunity to earn CE credit while reconnecting with friends and expanding their professional network.
AAVIO extends its sincere appreciation to Elanco Animal Health for sponsoring the event and supporting continuing education initiatives that advance veterinary medicine.
