The SKN Foundation proudly hosted its 2026 Charity Golf Event on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the prestigious Forsgate Country Club. Under sunny skies and ideal playing conditions, golfers, supporters, sponsors, and community leaders gathered for a memorable day of camaraderie, competition, and philanthropy in support of a meaningful cause.
Proceeds from this year’s event benefited the Special Needs Community Outreach Program for Empowerment (SCOPE), the foundation’s flagship initiative dedicated to supporting South Asian families of children with special needs through culturally responsive education, outreach, advocacy, and services.

Following an exciting day on the course, participants enjoyed an adult putting contest before attending a lively evening dinner reception featuring a special musical performance by Hardik Tailor. The evening also showcased inspiring performances by four talented superstars from the SCOPE Program, who demonstrated their abilities through storytelling, singing, keyboard performance, and dance.

Distinguished guests in attendance included Senator Vin Gopal, Mayor Neena Singh, and Deputy commissioner Education Dr. Joseph Howe. Each was recognized and honored for their continued advocacy and commitment to individuals with disabilities and inclusive community initiatives.
The celebration concluded with raffle drawings and contest prize presentations, recognizing participants and supporters who helped make the event a tremendous success.

Dr. Naveen Mehrotra, Founder Director of the SKN Foundation extended heartfelt gratitude to all golfers, sponsors, volunteers, donors, and attendees whose generosity and participation made the event possible. He emphasized that their support enabled the organization to continue championing health, wellness, inclusion, and empowerment with compassion and cultural sensitivity for the community.

Special appreciation was extended to Golf Committee members Avinash Singh, Sanjay Shah, and Sabuha Qureshi-Din for their dedication and hard work in planning and organizing the successful event.
