The Uttar Pradesh Federation of North America (UPFNA) organized a grand and dignified celebration of “Holi Milan & Mother’s Day” on May 10, 2026, at Parlor Banquet, New Jersey. The event brought together families, community leaders, distinguished guests, and members of the Indian diaspora in an atmosphere filled with culture, tradition, joy, and togetherness.
The celebration beautifully blended the vibrant spirit of Holi with the emotional warmth of Mother’s Day, creating a memorable and heartfelt occasion for the community.
The Chief Guests for the program were:
– Hon. Adrian O. Mapp, Mayor of the City of Plainfield, New Jersey
– Padma Khanna, renowned Indian Bollywood actress, dancer, and director

The event received active support from several prominent community organizations and leaders.
Notable contributors included:

– Archana Sharma, UPAGP
– Tribhuvan Singh
– Raj Tiwari
The cultural program featured colorful performances, music, dance, poetry, and heartfelt tributes dedicated to mothers. One of the most emotional and memorable moments of the evening was a surprise video presentation created by children for their mothers. The touching messages filled the hall with emotion and appreciation.

This special initiative required tremendous effort from the organizing team, especially Mr. Sandeep Anand Rai, who transformed the raw video clips into a beautifully presented tribute. Special thanks were also extended to all those who coordinated with fathers and families to collect personalized messages and make the surprise truly memorable for every mother present.
The program was successfully coordinated by Mr. Prashant K. S. Dikshit, Chairman and Founder of UPFNA. The event was gracefully conducted by Mrs. Neeta Tyagi, whose presence added warmth and elegance to the celebration. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Amit Gupta, President – New Jersey, UPFNA, in the esteemed presence of Trustees Dr. Shiv Shahi and Mr. Amit Kumar.
