Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan and acclaimed actor Rasika Dugal turned heads at the trailer launch of their upcoming Netflix crime‑drama Kartavya in Mumbai. The event, held on May 6, 2026, marked the first major public appearance of the cast and crew ahead of the film’s digital release on May 15, 2026.
Saif, who plays SHO Pawan, walked in wearing a beige suit with a white shirt, earning praise for his smart, upright look. Rasika, who appears as his wife in the film, chose a black and gold co‑ord set, paired with a high ponytail and light makeup, amplifying the film’s intense, grounded tone. Actor Sanjay Mishra and other co‑stars, including Saurabh Dwivedi, also joined them at the evening gathering.
While launching the trailer, Saif praised Rasika calling him a “big fan” of her and spoke warmly about working with her. He said collaborating with her was “deeply inspiring” and highlighted how smoothly the shoot went under the direction of Pulkit, who also directed Bhakshak. Kartavya is produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment and is described as a tense crime thriller that explores duty, family and moral choices.
