Actress and TV personality Sunita Ahuja, wife of veteran Bollywood actor Govinda, sparked laughter and buzz after joking about her husband’s accidental shooting incident during the latest episode of Colors TV’s comedy cooking show Laughter Chefs 3.
During recent appearance, Sunita made a grand entry on the show and roasted several contestants, including her nephew Krushna Abhishek and influencer Elvish Yadav. But the moment that grabbed most attention was her witty dig at Govinda, referencing the October 1, 2024, incident when he accidentally shot himself in the leg while handling his licensed revolver at their Mumbai home.
Speaking to contestant Kashmera Shah during the episode, Sunita said, “Kashmera, I want to tell you one thing — the guy who respects his wife is a hero. Joh superstar hota hai woh apni biwi ki bahut respect karta hai, phir woh ankhiyon se goli maarta hai. Jahan third party ki entry ho jaati hai, toh ghutno pe goli maare…” (“Where a third party enters, he shoots his own knee”).
The show also featured host Bharti Singh celebrating “Mami Day” with Sunita, and shows emotional moments where Krushna Abhishek falls at Sunita’s feet after she playfully roasts him.
Laughter Chefs 3, featuring Sunita Ahuja as a guest, has gained massive traction on social media. The show airs on Colors TV and is streamed on Voot.
Sunita’s sharp humor has once again put her in the spotlight, blending family banter with bold candour on national television.
