Salman Khan and Nayanthara kick off Vamshi Paidipally’s film

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and South star Nayanthara have begun shooting for director Vamshi Paidipally’s next film. The project, called #SVC63 for now, started with a traditional pooja ceremony in Mumbai on April 22, 2026.

Producer Dil Raju of Sri Venkateswara Creations shared a video on X from the event. It shows Vamshi Paidipally and Dil Raju arriving first. Salman came in a black T-shirt and jeans, while Nayanthara wore a simple black jumpsuit.

The clip captures the team greeting each other and taking the muhurat shot. The post said, “With auspicious beginnings and a vibrant atmosphere… this is how we began the #SalmanKhanVamshiPaidipallyFilm in Mumbai.” Fans are excited about this big team-up.

This is Salman Khan’s first film with Vamshi Paidipally and Dil Raju. The director has made hits like Brindavanam, Oopiri, Maharshi (National Award winner), Yevadu, and Varisu.

Nayanthara joins as the female lead after her Bollywood debut in Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan. Producers announced her last month, calling her “The Queen” and praising her versatility.

Salman has a busy lineup with Maatrubhumi starring Chitrangada Singh and a cameo in Raja Shivaji. Nayanthara has projects like Toxic, Mookuthi Amman 2, Mannangatti Since 1960, Hi, Rakkayie, Patriot, and Dear Students across languages.

The action entertainer aims for Eid 2027 release after a three-month shoot. This pan-India film promises big entertainment from the powerhouse cast.
