A thunderous and repeated chant of “Jai Hind” echoed through the hall as Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh led the audience in a moment of pride and patriotism that became the defining highlight of a warm and memorable Meet & Greet Reception held in his honor.
After the first response, the Air Chief Marshal encouraged the audience to say it louder, and the chant was repeated three times—each time with greater energy and enthusiasm—creating an electrifying atmosphere that left everyone inspired and deeply moved.
The reception was held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11:30 AM at Mint Restaurant, and was hosted by the American Punjabi Society under the leadership of its Global President, Gary S. Sikka.
The event was further marked by the Air Chief Marshal’s humility, grace, and genuine warmth. In a gesture that deeply touched all present, he chose to forego lunch altogether, expressing that he would rather spend that time meeting people personally and interacting with guests.
What truly stood out was his willingness to meet each and every attendee individually. Guests were given the opportunity to take photographs with him and exchange a few words. His polite, humble, and down-to-earth demeanor left a lasting impression—so much so that, had one not known his distinguished position, he came across simply as one among us.
Even as he was preparing to leave and step into his car, attendees continued to approach him for photographs and brief interactions. With remarkable patience and warmth, he graciously acknowledged every request, ensuring that no one felt left out.
The event was attended by a large number of prominent community leaders and well-wishers, making it difficult to individually acknowledge all who were present.
His decision to prioritize people over protocol created a deeply personal and unforgettable experience for all in attendance, reflecting not only his exceptional leadership but also his genuine respect for individuals.
