Director Mohit Suri and actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda are coming together again for a new Yash Raj Films love story, just a year after their hit film Saiyaara. The film will be another intense romantic drama produced under the YRF banner, marking the second collaboration between the same team.
Saiyaara, released in 2025, was the debut feature of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda and became a major box‑office success. The musical romantic drama followed a young singer–songwriter couple, Krish and Vaani, whose love is tested by personal struggles and early‑onset Alzheimer’s. The film collected over ₹338 crore in India and more than ₹500 crore worldwide, making it one of YRF’s biggest romantic hits.
In a statement shared by the studio, the team said the new untitled project will be a “cinematic experience” that combines heartfelt storytelling with strong music. Both actors have been called the “most‑loved Gen Z pair” of YRF, and the production house has said the new film will look for a “more honest, more vulnerable and more enduring” love story than their first outing.
The new Mohit Suri romance will be produced by Akshaye Widhani and is set to go on floors later this year. YRF is planning a worldwide theatrical release for the film in 2027, hoping to repeat the success of Saiyaara with the same director–actor combination. Fans of the 2025 hit are already excited to see Panday and Padda back together in another YRF love story.
