Yuvraj Singh has said sorry to MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev. This comes after his father Yograj Singh made some harsh comments about the two cricket legends. Yuvraj called the remarks unacceptable.

In an interview, Yuvraj shared what he told his father. “I would like to apologise to Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni for these comments,” he said. “I told dad, it’s not okay.” Yograj had blamed Dhoni for hurting Yuvraj’s career in its last phase. He also said Kapil dropped him for no reason.

Yuvraj respects both stars a lot. “Kapil was a great player and captain for India,” he noted. He played with Dhoni and shares a good bond with him. “What my dad has said about him — I told him, ‘it’s not okay.’ It reflects on me as I have played with him,” Yuvraj added.

The all-rounder asked his father not to make such statements. “I would appreciate it if he didn’t say these things, whatever the reasons,” Yuvraj said. He made it clear the words are not his own. Both Dhoni and Kapil know that. As cricketers, Yuvraj has huge respect for what they did for India.

Dhoni and Kapil are the only captains to win the ODI World Cup for India. Yograj’s comments upset many fans.

This shows Yuvraj wants to keep peace in cricket circles. Fans hope such family issues stay private.
