Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has started a record‑breaking run at the box office, collecting over ₹750 crore worldwide in just four days of release. Trade analysts say the film is already among the biggest opening‑weekend earners in Indian cinema history and has beaten the early runs of major hits like Pathaan, Jawan and RRR.
According to box‑office data shared by Sacnilk and other trackers, the film earned around ₹454 crore net in India after four days, with a gross closer to ₹550 crore across the country. In overseas markets, it has crossed ₹210 crore in gross revenue, helped by a strong response in North America, the UK and parts of Europe. Combined, this gives the film a worldwide total of roughly ₹752 crore within the first weekend.
Dhurandhar 2 opened with a massive paid‑preview collection of over ₹200 crore worldwide even before regular shows began, a rare number for an Indian film. On its first full day, ticket sales in India alone crossed ₹100 crore, and the film continued to grow on Sunday, adding another ₹114 crore inside the country. The movie, directed by Aditya Dhar, has also moved into the all‑time top‑two for four‑day opening‑weekend collections in Indian cinema, just behind Pushpa 2.
The high‑energy mix of action, patriotic drama and a star‑packed cast has helped the film pull audiences from both small towns and big cities. Theatre owners report packed shows even on weekdays, and many multiplexes have extended screening hours. With the film still in its first week, trade experts say Dhurandhar 2 has a strong chance of crossing the ₹1,000‑crore mark globally if its current momentum continues.
