Indian stand-up comedian, chess streamer, and cultural phenomenon Samay Raina is bringing his globally celebrated stand-up special, Still Alive, to the United States, with a landmark performance at The Theater in New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden. The tour, which has already sold over 300,000 tickets worldwide, will be the first and only time its performed by Raina in North America, marking a major milestone in his international comedy journey.
“The audience in USA and Canada saw me at the worst time of my life, now they get to see me in the best” says comedian Samay Raina.
Known for his razor-sharp wit, unfiltered humor, and deeply relatable storytelling, Raina has emerged as one of the most influential voices in modern Indian comedy. Still Alive is a bold, introspective, and laugh-out-loud exploration of life, resilience, internet fame, failure, and the absurdities of modern existence, delivered with Samay’s signature honesty and irreverence. The show is an electrifying, fast-paced, no-filter experience that mirrors the chaos of the internet generation. Blending dark humor, self-reflection, and Samay’s trademark spontaneity, the show feels more like a live event than a traditional comedy performance.

The Still Alive tour is expected to draw fans from across the U.S., reflecting the growing global influence of Indian comedians and the appetite for culturally resonant, boundary-pushing humor. Samay has previously sold-out successful Europe, Australia and India tours and is now bringing the best show of his career to the USA and Canada, produced by The Comedy Factory & Millennial Events.
Last year alone, Samay Raina’s North American tour sold over 50,000 tickets across 32 cities in under six weeks, a clear testament to his unmatched connection with audiences here,” says Hiral Jamindar, Director – Millennial Events. “This year, with his popularity accelerating at an extraordinary pace, we’re thinking bigger, including iconic venues, larger capacities, and a scale that reflects his cultural impact. Samay isn’t just touring anymore; he’s building a global comedy movement.
Samay Raina first rose to prominence after winning Comicstaan and has since built a massive global following through sold-out international tours, viral stand-up clips, and his pioneering blend of comedy and live chess streaming. His ability to seamlessly connect with Gen Z and millennial audiences has positioned him as a defining voice of his generation.
The U.S. leg of Still Alive continues Raina’s streak of sold-out shows worldwide and signals a new chapter in his expanding global footprint.
