This Saturday, on September 27th, widely popular Punjabi singer and actor, Rajvir Jawanda, suffered some serious injuries after he was involved in a road accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. It was reported that his condition was extremely critical as the singer had sustained head and spine injuries in the accident.
Talking about the accident, as per several reports, Rajvir’s motorcycle collided with stray cattle that came onto the road out of nowhere, which led to a crash in Himachal Pradesh. The singer was immediately taken to the Civil Hospital nearby, where doctors informed that Rajvir had suffered a head and spine injury. It was also informed that he went into a cardiac arrest. Rajvir was then shifted from the civil hospital to the Fortis Hospital. Fortis Hospital then put out a statement informing that the singer was put on advanced life support.
When the news of the Punjabi star having an accident went viral everyone prayed for his speedy recovery. From fellow industry stars and celebrities to known politicians, everyone prayed for Jawanda’s speedy recovery. The Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann reacted to the accident and prayed for the singer’s good health.
World renowned Singer and actor, Diljit Dosanjh also took to his Instagram and wrote in a story, “Praying for Rajvir Veera. Just heard about the accident news.” Alongside Diljit, fellow singers, including Kulwinder Billa and Kanwar Grewal had even visited Rajvir at the hospital.
Rajvir is a 35-year-old Punjabi artist well known for his hit tracks like “Surname”, “Kamla”, “Mera Dil”, and “Sardari.” He has also worked in Punjabi films, including in “Jind Jaan,” “Mindo Taseeldarni”, and “Kaka Ji.”
