Aryan Khan has made his official entry into the film industry with his directorial debut, ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’. The movie, produced by Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, had its grand premier this Thursday, on September 19th. The movie’s premier saw many big names across the industries turn up to light the stage.
One of the biggest names from the Indian comedy scene, Samay Raina was also present at the event and his t-shirt got the social media world buzzing. One of Aryan’s cousins, Arjun Chhiba, the son of Gauri Khan’s brother Vikrant Chhibber, shared a picture on his Instagram where Aryan and Samay can be seen posing together along with a few other friends.
However, what caught everyone’s attention was the message on Samay’s T-shirt that read “Say No to Cruise”. Netizens were quick to point out the cheeky dig that Samay took at Aryan’s infamous scandal involving a cruise party which became a major talking point across the country.
Talking about the incident, Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau four years back on October 3, 2021, for possession, use, and sale of banned drugs. His arrest came after the NCB raided a cruise ship and reportedly seized illegal substances from the cruise. Along with him a total of twenty people were arrested in the case.
Coming back to The Ba***ds of Bollywood, the series is currently holding the number one spot on Netflix’s list of the top 10 most-viewed shows in India. The seven episode series stars Lakshya Lalwani, Raghav Juyal, Bobby Deol and Sahher Bambba in the lead roles.
It features several stars, including Anya Singh, Mona Singh and Manoj Pahwa. Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Disha Patani, Orhan Awatramani (aka Orry), Shanaya Kapoor, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Rajkummar Rao, Sara Ali Khan, and others make cameo appearances in the series.
