Dhanashree Verma, the ex-wife of Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, has joined the Amazon MX Player’s new reality show Rise and Fall hosted by Ashneer Grover. In the show, Dhanashree can be seen opening up about her personal life and how he made it clear that she has moved ahead of relationships and marriage in her life right now and is not looking for one now.

In one of the recent episodes of the show, Dhanashree can be seen involved in a candid conversation with fellow contestants Nayandeep Rakshit and Pawan Singh on the show. She shared that she is enjoying her single life now and has no intention of seeking a companion.

She declared, “No, I don’t want anyone in my life now. I have been through a lot in my relationship. I’ll be the female Salman Khan of this industry.”

Dhanashree also narrated one of her dreams in which she saw herself in Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge where she was surrounded by yellow fields. Listening to her dreams, fellow contestants teased about meeting her dream partner but she quickly clarified that love is not on her agenda. She cleared out, “I was enjoying the scenery in front of me. Then I woke up and wondered what I was seeing.”

Dhanashree’s comments came months after her highly publicised divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. The couple tied the knot 5 years back in 2020 however, they decided to separate and filed for divorce in February 2024 which was finalised earlier this year.

After the split Dhanashree stayed away from drama and stated, “Everyone has to maintain self-respect, and when you are in a marriage, you need to keep the respect of the other person also intact.”
