There was a huge controversy when pictures of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif relaxing together on a beach in Ibiza went viral 12 years back in 2013. At that time the two Bollywood stars were dating each other but had not confirmed their relationship to the world yet so when the pictures were leaked to the public it sparked a heavy discussion on privacy of the celebrities.
Now 12 years later, popular paparazzo Manav Manglani has confirmed that the leaked photographs of the former couple were not taken by any paparazzi or tourists. In fact those photos were leaked by someone who was very close to them.
While talking on Kunickaa Sadanand’s podcast, Manav, who is one of the most successful paparazzi photographers, spoke about capturing several Bollywood romances and why he never deletes the images. He stated that these are bound to come out one day or another and these are the photos that go viral the most. However, he revealed that the last leak of Ranbir and Katrina was a long time ago and was leaked by someone close to them.
Manav explained, “Aaj nahi toh kal niklega hi niklega, ghar pe thodi affair karne waala hai (The photos will come out sooner or later; it’s not like they’re going to lock themselves inside the house). It’s not a one-night fling, is it? But these are the pictures that go viral the most… The last leak was Ranbir and Katrina on that beach. That was a long time ago.”
Manav revealed, “That was leaked by someone very close to them…”
Manav then revealed that he was the first paparazzi to capture Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif together when they were coming out of a Diwali party once. He had also taken pictures of Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday while the actors were dating each other.
