Sai Pariwar, Inc. successfully hosted its Grand Fundraising Musical Gala on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Royal Albert’s Palace in Fords, New Jersey, drawing an enthusiastic gathering of devotees, community members, and well-wishers. The event marked a major milestone in Sai Pariwar’s mission to construct a new Sai Temple and Cultural Center in North Brunswick.
The evening featured a captivating Bollywood musical concert performed by talented local singers and musicians, supported by a live band. The more than three-hour program delighted guests with a wide range of melodies, from golden classics and soulful bhajans to contemporary favorites. The program began with Guruji’s rendition of Ganesh prayer followed by a melodious Sai Bhajan. The performances created an atmosphere of devotion, nostalgia, and joy, while guests also enjoyed delicious food and the warmth of community fellowship. New Jersey’s first Indian American State Assembluman and current Commissioner of New Jersey’s public utilities Mr. Upendra Chivukula urged everyone to donate generously to be part of this historic development in building a new temple in our backyard where highly populated Indian Americans resides.

Throughout the event, the spirit of Seva (selfless service), Shraddha (faith), and Saburi (patience) shone brightly. Devotees and community leaders expressed their heartfelt support for Sai Pariwar vision of building a modern, fully accessible temple and cultural center that will serve as a long-term spiritual home for future generations. The planned temple, located on Route 130 in North Brunswick, will include sanctums for multiple deities, expanded facilities, modern infrastructure, and ample parking, ensuring a welcoming space for worship, cultural enrichment, and community service.

The gala also helped advance Sai Pariwar ongoing $5 million capital campaign to fund the construction of the new temple. Guests contributed generously during the evening, with many pledging donations and exploring sponsorship opportunities for different parts of the temple. The event underscored the community’s commitment to creating a lasting spiritual and cultural landmark in Central Jersey.
Sai Pariwar President Shiv Kolli explained everyone with the current status of temple construction project via presentation and described 15 years of history of current temple which is in a leased place and lack many amenities. Guriji (Surendra Katthula) expressed his deepest appreciation to all those who attended and extended their support to Sai Pariwar. The entire event was wonderfully choreographed by talented Madhavi Bathula who also hosted the event along with Music Director Brij Joshi.
