Saiyaara has shocked everyone with its success, the movie has created a wave that hardly anyone would have anticipated. The two debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda have risen to stardom overnight with their movie’s success.

Ahaan Panday, the lead actor of Saiyaara, had been known earlier for his Dubsmash videos. As his fame is skyrocketing, an old video of the actor from his Instagram live session has resurfaced on the internet and has gone viral. In the video, the actor who is the nephew of Chunky Panday and the brother of Ananya Panday, can be seen saying that he is “nowhere related to the veteran actor”.

When Ahaan Panday was asked in his Instagram Live whether he was connected to Chunky Panday. Ahaan however seemed a bit bothered by the idea and stated that he is not connected to him at all and he specified that his father, Aloke Sharad Panday, is his only Panday connection.

“It’s funny that my surname is Panday, but I’m nowhere connected to him. My dad is Aloke Sharad Panday, and that’s the only Panday connection I have. I have established myself in the B-town through my popularity,” Ahaan said.

Ahaan Panday is indeed the son of Aloke Sharad Panday, who is popularly known as Chikki Panday. Chikki is a businessman and younger brother of veteran Bollywood actor Chunky Panday. Netizens were speculating whether Ahaan’s video highlighted any issues with Chunky Panday or not. However, the Panday family had been united ever since the release of his film and have been his biggest support system in this new chapter of his life.

On the other side, Saiyaara is rewriting box office rules with its stellar numbers from day one of its release. In just a week the movie has become one of the top five highest-grossing films of the year. The movie is just behind Vicky Kaushal’s historical saga Chhaava (Rs 601 crore), Akshay Kumar’s franchise hit Housefull 5 (Rs 183 crore), Ajay Devgn’s formula hit Raid 2 (Rs 173 crore), and Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par (Rs 163 crore).
