One of the most respected and reputed actors of Bollywood, Anupam Kher is back on the big screens with his new movie Tanvi The Great, which released this Friday on 18th July. The movie has created a bit of buzz around the fans as the movie is showing great promise. The movie will be marking Anupam Kher’s directorial debut as he looks to start his new journey in the film industry.
As per the reports from a famous trade analyst, Rohit Jaiswal, the movie is likely to premiere on Netflix after it has run its course in theatres. He stated, “Anupam Kher shares a strong rapport with Netflix. So, the film should land there after its theatrical run. However, it will take time as Tanvi The Great has just been released.”
Tanvi The Great is a story about an inspiring journey of a 21-year-old woman named Tanvi. Tanvi who is looking to live her dreams but is facing societal and personal challenges all around. The film highlights her ongoing battles with autism and rejection as she gives it her all to get into the Indian Army and fulfil her late father’s dream.
In the lead role of the film as Tanvi, is Shubhangi Dutt. The cast of Tanvi The Great also include veteran actors like Nassar, Boman Irani and Arvind Swami. Anupam Kher has acted also in the movie while directing the project.
Another interesting addition to the film project is the famous actor from the Game of Thrones series, Iain Glen. Oscar winning music composer MM Kreem is giving music to the film and Keiko Nakahara serves as the cinematographer.
