This Thursday morning on 3rd July, trailer of one of the most awaited movies this year, Hari Hara Veera Mallu was launched across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film is directed by Krish and Jyothi Krisna and stars Pawan Kalyan as the main character of the film, Veera Mallu, with Bobby Deol and Nidhhi Agerwal in key roles.

Although the film’s trailer was launched all over in both states, the launch in the capital city Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre was cancelled. The launch was cancelled due to the massive response from the fans of the superstar Pawan Kalyan which caused many safety concerns and prompted the management of cinema hall to call off the event. This was a precautionary measure taken after the horrific stampede that happened last year on December 4 at the premiere show of Pushpa 2: The Rule.

The Sandhya Theatre is a single screen theatre that doesn’t hold the capacity to manage such a large crowd that was gathering to watch their favourite superstar’s trailer launch. As the numbers in the crowd kept rising the police had to get involved to manage the erupting crowd. After observing that the condition is getting worse, the management decided to call off the event.

The makers of the film took to their social media handle to spread awareness and requested all the supporters of the legendary star to be responsible while celebrating. They asked the fans to be respectful to all the theatres where the launch was supposed to take place and told them not to cause any havoc anywhere.

They stated, “A heartfelt message from our producer AM Rathnam garu. Let’s celebrate the Hari Hara Veera Mallu trailer tomorrow at 11:10 AM with the same love and madness you have always shown but responsibly and with pride for our Chief Shri Pawan Kalyan garu.”
