Popular Indian actress and model, Shefali Jariwala passed away in Mumbai this Friday, June 27th at the age of 42. It was reported that the actress was rushed to the Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by her husband, famous actor Prayag Tyagi. But the actress couldn’t make it and was declared dead on arrival by the doctors.
The ‘Kaanta Laga’ famed actress was just 42-years-old and the sudden news of her passing has shocked everyone. It was reported that the actress suffered a cardiac arrest at her Mumbai residence last night. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem. The police are at the actress’ house and are questioning the cook and the househelp.
There has been news suggesting that Shefali Jariwala was undergoing an anti-ageing treatment. The treatment is generally used by the people to improve their skin texture and look a bit younger. The medicines that are used in the anti-ageing treatment included Vitamin C and Glutathione.
The doctor talked about the treatment and said, “Glutathione is a drug used for skin fairness and detoxification. These medicines do not have a direct impact on the heart and are purely cosmetic treatments.”
However, it is being stated that the exact cause of the death of the actress will come out once the reports from the forensic department and the post-martem examination from the Cooper Hospital come out. Her family has not released an official statement as of now but the visuals from outside her home show her husband Prayag Tyagi in tears.
Shefali Jariwala first caught the spotlight from her appearance in the song ‘Kaanta Laga’ in 2002, which instantly became a major hit and a pop culture sensation. She then participated in the hit reality show Big Boss in season 13 and became a household name there. The late actress was also part of the 2004 movie ‘Mujhse Shadi Karogi’ starring Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra.
