On Wednesday, June 25th Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor celebrated her 51st birthday. The actress put up a story on her official Instagram account thanking all her fans for their warm wishes. This story was the first interaction on her social media account after the death of her ex-husband, Sunjay Kapoor.
Karisma Kapoor shared a small note for all her fans who had supported the legendary actress in the past few weeks while she was dealing with the major loss. She thanked them for the wishes on her 51st birthday and the support they have provided.
“Thank you everyone for your warm wishes and support,” she wrote in her story along with a folded hands emoji and a red heart emoji.
Karisma’s younger sister and bollywood actress, Kareena Kapoor wished her sister happy birthday and put up a post for her on her Instagram account. She posted a photo of her husband Saif Ali Khan and Karisma together and said it’s her favourite picture of them together.
Kareena Kapoor in the caption of her post, wrote, “This is my most favourite picture of you both. To the strongest and the bestest girl in the universe… It’s been a tough year for us … but you know what … as they say tough times don’t last … the toughest sisters do… To my Sister, my mother, my best friend … Happy birthday My Lolo.”
Two weeks ago on June 12th, Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband, business tycoon, Sunjay Kapur passed away during a polo match after suffering a heart attack at the age of 53. Karisma attended the funeral and prayer meet of her late ex-husband in New Delhi. She was accompanied by her children Samaira and Kiaan along with her sister and brother-in-law, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
