NJ State AAPI Celebrates Father’s Day with Education, Grateful farewell and Welcome to New team

On June 18, NJ State AAPI hosted a vibrant Father’s Day celebration at the Imperia restaurant in Somerset, NJ, blending cultural festivities with a crucial educational session on Estate and tax planning for physician by Johan Vako VP, Kamal Singh APMA from wall street Alliance group.

NJ State AAPI has been committed to education and community engagement throughout the year, regularly organizing impactful programs on key healthcare topics. These initiatives aim to empower physicians and the community with the latest medical advancements, preventive care strategies, and professional growth opportunities.

The evening was graced by President Dr. Sudha Nahar, Chair of the Board of Trustees Dr. Rachana Kulkarni, along with members of the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees, who proudly presented the current EC and BOT team and thanked them for their hard work, shared the good news that 100% retention for next year. Dr Nahar welcomed the new members and presented the gavel to incoming president Dr. Raj Bhayani who gave powerful acceptance speech and encouraged to increase the membership.

NJ AAPI presented a check to RWJUH/Somerset health care foundation as a token of gratitude for their Indian medical program.

The event was attended by Community leader Dr Sudhir and Sudha Parikh & approximately 100 physicians and their families in attendance, the event was a resounding success, bringing together the physician community of Indian origin in a spirit of unity and celebration. Attendees dressed in colorful attire, enjoyed Father’s Day, physician got World’s Best Dad Pin, delicious food, desserts, and drinks, creating a joyous and memorable experience.

The success of NJ State AAPI is a testament to the strong leadership and dedication of its executive team, who continuously foster collaboration, education, and advocacy for physicians of Indian origin. Events like this not only strengthen professional ties but also celebrate the rich cultural heritage and contributions of the AAPI community.

The event was generously supported by Andre Sigismondo from WSAG, further reinforcing the importance of partnerships in advancing medical education and community well-being.
