Google is all set to launch its Pixel 10 series in a couple of months and the excitement for the upcoming smartphone series. It is being reported that in the Made by Google event on 20th August the company is looking to launch their latest Pixel lineup. But what is piquing the public interest the most are the reports that suggest the new Pixel series might have Qi 2.

The latest reports from the Android Authority have suggested that the Google Pixel 10 series might be equipped with Qi 2 support alongside the magnetic accessories under the Pixelsnap moniker. The new Pixel series will include the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

As per the said reports it can be confirmed that for the upcoming Pixel 10 series Google is developing a few magnetic Qi 2 accessories. It is also being reported that there will be several accessories that will be under development which will include – Pixelsnap Charger, Pixelsnap Charger with Stand, and Pixelsnap Ring Stand.

The Pixelsnap Charger is just a regular charger, the Pixelsnap Ring Stand is an attachment that will help in holding your phone up and the Pixelsnap Charger with Stand is a combined accessory.

There is one change that the reports have confirmed. Earlier the reports had suggested that Google was looking at built-in magnets in Pixel 10 series, but the newer information denies these reports. The reports now suggest that the Pixelsnap accessories will only be accessible if they buy a compatible case for Pixel 10. So, google has decided that instead of putting Qi 2 compatible magnets on the phones they are placing them on the official Pixel 10 cases.
